decided to put his home up for sale. Upon the initial meeting we noticed that the gap in between the windows and the brick on the rear of the home had unusual sized gaps. Our pre listing home inspection caught a potential foundation issue. The process in our office is to get a neutral 3rd party, structural engineer involved in these instances. The recommendation from the structural engineer was to regrade the soil on the side of the home and install a small root barrier system. After making these 2 modifications, the home seemed to stabilize. The home passed all inspections with no issues!
